I don’t really like to post the art of other artists without their permission but I was tracking down the work of Scott Clark and remembered how much I love his work.
Scott has been playing the odds and ends man at DC Comics for the last couple of years on titles like Grifter and Mr. Terrific but never really tied to anything long term it seams and it’s sad. His early work with Wildstorm introduced great characters like Battalion and Fuji in the pages of Stormeatch. His women were always something to be admired as they captured the comic book ideal of the supeheroine who were sleek and sexy with just enough of a touch of kick ass that you were compelled to look at the pages and panels again and again.
The page to the left is from one of the Hulk Annuals . . . I think . . . from the mid 2000’s, featuring She-Hulk, and is exemplary of the kind of stunning line work that he is capable of producing. He’s worked for just about every major name that you can think of in the industry and his skill is something that I think any publisher would want on their team. I hope he works on something more regular in the future.
You can find Scott Clark on his Comic Art Fans or Deviant Art pages.
