The Process @ ImageAddiction.com

I’ve been listening to podcasts lately, after reading that Jim Lee listens to talk radio while working. Since I don’t have a radio at my disposal, outside of my car, I thought that I would try Jim’s technique through POD casts! Eureka! the formula is gold!

There’s something in listening to the sound of talking voices in conversation that helps to keep me focused on the drawing board. As some of you may have guessed I love comics so my poison has been podcasts about comics that feature interviews with professionals and general reviews about the books that have come out during the current week,or sometimes general nonsense but almost always about comics. My favorites so far have come from ComicVine.com and Image Addiction.com While searching for new things to listen to I stumble upon “The Process” a featured podcast through ImageAddiction.net.

The Process is hosted by several writers with various levels of publishing experience, all of them striving to make the craft a full time career. This podcast follows, not only, their endeavors but they provide insight and critique of their favorite writers and comic book creators as well as delving into getting inspired and staying focused on the job of writing.

This podcast is extremely well rounded and entertaining to listen to and I find that it helps me to get through a couple of hours of drawing like it was five minutes. I hope that anyone who sees this can take some time out to give this series a listen, it’s good stuff!!
